RECREATION

Experience the Forest for Yourself

Many of our working forests are available for a variety of recreation opportunities—from hiking and biking, to birdwatching and photography, to hunting and exploring.

Things to know before you go:

  • Permits are required to access gated properties. Access permits are always free. Apply using the link below.

  • Due to safety and other concerns, not every property is open for recreation activities at all times.

  • For the safety of our forests, our employees and the public, we close and restrict access to our lands occasionally due to fire season, timber operations or other changes to our forestlands.

  • Be sure to read and adhere to all posted signs.
